the antimicrobial activities of the five hybrids were screened against four common pathogens, including S. enteridis, by cylinder-plate assay. All evaluated hybrids showed antimicrobial activity against S. enteridis. The strongest antimicrobial activity of EZPC was against S. enteridis, wherwas the antimicrobial activity against S. aureus was moderate. In contrast, the antimicrobail activity of the five hybrid was not detected against E. coli. Consistent to our result, also found the anthocyanins fraction from cranberry showed antimicrobial activity against a few bacterial stains except for against E. coli. Moreover, the antimicrobial activity of EZPC was dose dependent, consistent to the former reports. EZPC had a remarkably antimicrobial activity against S.enteritidis at low concentrations of 5mg/ml. However, the higher concentration of EZPC were necessary to inhibit the growth of s. aureus(10mg/ml)
