Now I see the message was from you and not Boss. I'm not sure what happened to your chapters but completing the complete draft of the book for next week is fine. I have also sent further information to Mr. Te to distribute. Here is the same information for you since I have your email address through boss:
Good afternoon, Students:
I'd like to offer more guidance for this next step of the small book production process for next week. Please share this information with the others.
Here's what we need for the next step:
Create a front and back cover design for each book and do the best you can to create it for the next class, Maybe authors can find a great free book cover design template on-line. We can also work on how to do it in class but it should be at least a finished drawing with text;
Finish a draft copy of all chapters to be included in the book and have a friend read the book and offer suggestions for making the book as simple, concise and interesting as possible. Put the text on a DVD/CD;
Paste the text of the book into a document with a small border an two columns so that when it prints, their are two facing pages on one horizontal (landscape) positioned A4 paper. It should come out to be around 24 half-A4 size pages;
Images, pictures and drawings should be ready to insert or already be inserted into the text of the book;
Have fun with the process and let me know if you have any questions! I will spend more time with each person this week in class and in my office too if needed so it all comes out great.
I have also decided that people finishing a book do not need to take a 25 point quiz at the end of the semester based on the presentations. Listen and learn, but no need to take a test. All focus should be to create a great book.
