Frank: Diana, can we talk?
Diana: Sure, Frank. What's up?
Frank: Well, we're both really busy these days and I feel like we haven't talked about our relationship lately.
Diana: Oh. I thought everything was fine between us. Are you unhappy about something in our relationship?
Frank: Well, I've noticed that you never remember to call me anymore when you get home from work.
Diana: I haven't been forgetting to call you, Frank. I've just been getting home late. So, I've stopped calling because I don't want to wake you up in case you've gone to bed.
Frank: Diana, I never want to go to sleep without talking to you on the phone first. I like to talk to you and hear about your day. This has really been bothering me. And I regret to tell you that I feel like our relationship is over.
Diana: But, Frank, why didn't you tell me you were upset? We could have straightened this out sooner. I know you don't want to break up, and I don't either.
Frank: You're right. I don't want to break up. But I want us to talk more, so we know what is going on in each other's lives.
Diana: I want that, too, Frank. And, you have to tell me when something is bothering you so that we can work it out.
Frank: OK, I will from now on. I'm glad we had this talk.
Frank is unhappy with his and Diana's relationship.
