Students begin by reviewing the four tasks with Kathy.
She explains that students must complete all four tasks, but may work in any order they like.
Students may refer back to their notes to monitor their understanding and to make sure they have the information they need to complete each task.
Kathy ensures that students understand what exemplary work looks and sounds like for each task by providing criteria for all four in the Task Rotation.
She makes sure that the criteria are clear and written in student-friendly language. Kathy’s criteria are on page 243.
