In this paper, we propose a wideband MA in the
gigahertz region. Our simulations and experiments
demonstrate that the bandwidth of an MA can be
greatly enhanced by loading lumped resistors, compared
with an MA that works by only using a double
U structure magnetic resonator. Further simulation
results indicate that lumped resistive elements are thechief contributor of this MA’s wideband absorption.
We also investigated the influence of the distance between
two unit cells along the magnetic field direction
