Our results (Fig. 2, 3, and 4) clearly demonstrate the importance of all irradiation levels, and CO2 levels in determining the relative growth rates. A similar pattern occurred with the 3 temperatures (20° C, 25° C, and 30° C).
Similar studies can be undertaken with a range of different factors, for example
there is considerable debate regarding he need for additional wavelengths of light, in addition to the standard red:blue combination, and even the correct ratio of red:blue light has still to be established. This could be easily determined using this very simple research strategy.
