The facade treatment of the Kantang Railway Station has minimal ornamentation which is the Thailand's local ornamentation. The walls are set panel by panel and few arches, windows, timber louvers and air holes were built to provide cross ventilation.
The timber panel that is fixed on the wall is carved into unique shapes which raised the wall's aesthetical value. The timber lattice screen and timber louvers that are fixed on the wall creates repetitive patterns which allow light to enter the building and creates shadows through positive and negative space.
