Two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the Tukey test were
used to analyze differences among treatments. Tests for normality and
homogeneity of variance were performed to check the assumptions
for the parametric analysis. Pearson's correlation analysis was used to
determine the correlation coefficient of relative growth rate and nitrate
reductase activity and the correlation coefficient among the photosynthetic
parameters. A p-value of 0.05 or less was considered statistically
significant.
