Conclusions
The present experimental research investigates the effect of waterinjection on the engine performance and exhaust gas temperatures fora commercial SI engine. The following conclusions were drawn from
this investigation:
1. As the water to fuel mass ratio increases up to 0.5, the enginetorque, power and brake thermal efficiency values increase.
2. The BSFC and the exhaust gas temperature decrease as thewater to fuel ratio by mass increases.
