Janine Licare was only nine year old when she decided to take action. She was worried because the rainforest around her home in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, was disappearing. The animals and birds were disappearing too. So, together with a friend, Janine started a campaign to protect her local environment. They called it Kids Sauing the Rianforest.
The aims of KSTR are to teach children about the rainforest and to help the animals that there, especially the endangered Mono Titi monkey
Janine has achieved a lot. She has
