The industrial development in Thailand has adversely affected the environment due to the rapid technological development resulting in shorter product life cycles, and introductions of new products to replace existing products. The electrical and electronics industry in Thailand is one of the more important industries that contribute to the creation of revenue and jobs for Thai people and the country. This industry also utilizes production processes that produce many parts and components every year. The purpose of the research is to develop and examine a structural equation model of factors of green purchasing, internal environment management, green design, reverse logistics, environmental performance and economic performance that affects organizational performance of firms in the industry. After an extensive review of relevant international and local literature, a structural model is developed and will investigate whether the model can be applied to the electrical and electronics industry in Thailand.
