A T-DSS (Transportation Decision Support System) able to generate several alternatives paths based on traces of a local public transport service and from source and destination given by users has been implemented.
The entire platform has been developed via Open Source, which means a rapid bug-fixes and increased reliability, with the possibility of additional future development through the modularity of the platform.
The routing algorithm of the platform was tested on a real road network and the experiment results underlined a good responsiveness of the system.
