These two types of hypotheses were made to compare the performance on a gender basis:
1- Ho: There is no significant difference between the performance of male and female students in writing skills.
2- H1: There is a significant difference between the performance of male and female students in writing skills.
A comparison between the performance of male and female students has been made in Table 6 on the basis of above mentioned hypotheses. The results revealed no statistical significant difference between the performance of male and female students in the proficiency of writing skills.
