worrying. Physical symptoms most closely match those of
mild anxiety described above, and include muscle tension,
nausea, sweating, fatigue, headaches, shakiness, irritability,
frequent urination, or feeling out of breath (National
Institute of Mental Health, 2009). Assumption of a new role,
feelings of inadequacy, and worries about the health of the
fetus are only a few of the aspects of pregnancy that make it
easy to see why GAD is the most common antenatal anxiety
disorder.
