At the end of feeding period (16 weeks) all of the goats were
slaughtered after an overnight fast (12 h). A commercial slaughter
procedure was undertaken and the carcasses were weighed hot. Subsequently
the pelt, head, feet, internal organs (lungs and trachea,
liver, and kidney) and internal fat including peritoneal and mesenteric
fats, kidney fat, channel fat and heart fat were weighed separately.
