The density of bacteria culture required for the test was adjusted to 1.0 McFarland stan-dards (1.0 × 107CFU/ml) measured using the spectrophotometer(Eppendorf, AG, Germany). The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values were evaluated using the serial dilution method according to standard methods (NCCLS, 2003).
