You bowed once more “Yes sir, I’ll be right on it” You put down your things, and began on your way towards the horses.
You walked to a nearby river to get there water. You filled the buckets up to the top and began back to the horse barn “Hey there girl” you placed a hand on a pure white horse. She was a beauty. You loved animals, and the king didn’t know something about you. You could talk to them.
“So who do you belong to?” you placed an ear near the horse. You smiled “Oh the prince, he must work you hard” you laughed “So you go out often?” your smile grew “I see” you kept brushing the beauty, and kept up the conversation.
“Excuse me” a voice came from behind you.
“Oh Legolas…I didn’t know you…I mean I didn’t know you were…” you just stopped talking. You knew the prince, and he was as handsome as his father. You began to blush “How long were you there?” you finally got out.
He looked down at you, blue eyes scan your face “You can talk to animals?” he was a little surprised.
You swallowed “Yes I do” you stood up “I think I should be going.” You looked into his icy blue eyes before you left.
You were too tired to deal with this in the morning. Legolas was an amazing man that you fell in love with. When you’re close to him, you just want to hug him tightly and kiss his amazing lips. You closed your eyes. What were you thinking? He was royal and you a maid. It was a silly thought. You clenched your fist, jaw line tightened.
The sound of hooves pounding the group made you turn around. You saw the pure white horse making it way to you. Legolas was the one; well duh he was the one who owned the horse.
He stopped beside you “Would you like a ride?” he asked you.
You giggled. Yes you did, but you shook your head. A blush covered your face. Why would you think that way? You looked up at him “I have to get back to work! Your father told me-“
“Oh come on! Ada well do nothing, remember I’m in charge of you as well.” He paused “Do you want me to tell him you’re not listening to me?” He smirked.
Your eyes narrowed. That’s one thing you didn’t like about him. He was so mean to, ever since you were young “I…” he was right “Fine I’ll come with you” you looked at the horse, she was a big one. How are you going to get on her?
Legolas smiled “I’ll help you up” He got down off his horse.
You felt your body being lifted off the ground. Strong hands placing you gently on the horse. You felt heat rising up to your cheeks. He was strong and his hands were so soft to the touch. You wanted him to hug you tightly with those hands.
“Ready?” he smiled. He was already telling the horse to ride off. You weren’t ready for this; you made a noise of surprise. This made Legolas chuckle.
You huffed. Oh how you hated it when he chuckled at you. You lightly punched him in the back “It’s not funny-“another small gasp came from you, when the horse jumped over a log. You clenched on to Legolas.
Legolas’s head fell backwards with laughter “(y/n) you make me laugh” he chuckled once more.
“Where are you are taking me?” your voice filled with anger. The sun was up shining upon the wood, making it glow a golden color. It was pretty sight to see. This realm was pretty and so was Rivendell. But you would rather be in the woods. Instead of water, plus the woods had animals you could talk to.
“Out into the woods” He seemed happy. You liked that look on him. He looked sweet. The sun shined upon his golden hair, he was just too perfect.
He stopped at an opened area. A family of bears cuddle together “Oh hey sweetie” you said with such a sweet voice. Legolas looked at you, his blue eyes lightened up. You jumped off and started walking over to the family.
Legolas looked at you with concern “(y/n), (y/n) I wouldn’t go near them! There protective of their family.” He whispered to you.
You only ignored him. He forgot that you could talk to animals. You approachesd the family slowly “What’s your cub’s name?” you kneeled down to their level “Oh really, those are great names!” You reached out for a cub. Legolas got a bow and arrow ready to shoot, but you just took the little fuzzy ball into your lap. “Such a good boy” you smiled “Why thank you, I would never thought that about me.” You chuckled.
“So you could really talk to them” Legolas carefully came down to your level.
You smiled “Yes” you screeched behind the cubs ear “Want to hold him?” you asked. You looked down at the bear “Uh…” you blushed “No me and him are not a couple” you smiled nervously.
Legolas had a blush of his own as well. He took the cub from your hands “H-he’s adorable, but not as adorable as you” he kissed the bears head.
You blushed harder. What did he say? You pushed some hair behind your ear “Uh thank you…I guess” You looked up to see birds singing a song. Your eyes shined brightly “What a beautiful song” you whispered. The group of birds swarmed down, circling you, m
