Effectively prepare sites for improvement project
Set and manage site expectations
Manage activities during implementation so they are delivered effectively and efficiently
Analyze and determine baseline of current situation
Design and implement performance management, scheduling, and other applicable tools or methods
Facilitate the development and detailing of process improvement ideas and next steps
Coach site management to prepare presentations and sustain improvements
Monitoring progress and sustainability of LEAN at sites. Activities include:
Regular contact with sites previously visited
Active in tracking financial impact of LEAN improvement plans monthly
Plan and conduct regular revisits
Support sites to make real, tangible changes in operations
Support sites in continuing to plan, develop and detail process improvement ideas and to quantify saving targets
Verify culture change is present and progressing
Active participation in training and coaching. Activities include:
Educate management and associates by delivery of various LEAN training
Develop and / or improve training materials
Assist in preparing for and / or delivery of LEAN training
Liaise with site management to create LEAN culture. Activities include:
Educate management contacts in formal and informal LEAN improvement programs
Regularly meet with management contacts for progress reports and goal-adjustment
Ensure management understanding of associated LEAN metrics (e.g. Efficiency, Kaizen, etc.)
Contribution to further development of LEAN. Activities include:
Develop and continuously improve applicable methodologies
Establish developments or area of expertise to assure continuous improvement
Collect and share best practices with LEAN community
