“Dear Celia:
I miss you, and I really hope you are well. You know how important you were to me and I’d like to think that I was important to you, too. Which is why I’ve decided to be completely honest with you, even though this might sound weird to you.
Getting married didn’t turn out to be the traumatizing and horrible experience I feared it would be. My husband is a good man. He’s sweet and attentive, and little by little I’ve grown used to life with him, even to the most intimate aspects of our relationship. Besides, now I don’t have to hide my feelings or pretend in front of people or organize secret encounters or give excuses. I’ve found that liberating.
But the best thing of all is that I’m pregnant. I excitedly look forward to being a mother…”
And then Celia can’t take it anymore and crumbles the letter.
Basically, Aurora is apparently not completely hating being married because her husband is a Good Man (my fellow former Otalia-ites, doesn’t that phrase give you a knee-jerk reaction now?), so much so that even “the most intimate aspects” of their relationship aren’t that bad, which is why SHOCKER she is now pregnant and is looking forward to being a mom. I think she said more after that but I was so angry I stopped paying attention.
