Boss, it cannot be like that you cannot give the woman who just born a kid rest for only 2 week because in the rule of Trade Union said that " The workers are prohibited from working for 4 weeks after the birth". Actually when the worker pregnant you should assess the risk to them because of they carry heavy thing, standing or sitting for longs periods with out adequate breaks, exposure to toxic substance or eorking for long hours maybe there are danger for workers and their baby. After you assess them already you should offered the workers to do different works or changing their hours. For maternity leave Trade Union let them leave for about 52 week irrespective of how long they have worked for their boss or how many hours they work per week. First 2 week of leave(starting with the date of birth) as known as compulsory leave. Not only this rule for about bonus they would have received it when they are not on maternity leave.
