Drive and continuously improve the standard of obtaining visas and work permits for expatriate employees in Thailand and abroad in over 30 countries.
Seek counsel from hiring managers to understand the required skill sets for newly opened positions and draft the technology training plan according to BOI requirements to ensure the candidates meet their requirements and enable them to plan recruitment strategies effectively
Prepare business documentation, supporting documents and submit application to BOI, with closely follow-up and effective communication to ensure the hired candidates have visas and work permits approved in good time.
Regularly monitor service-level-agreements (SLA) and qualities measures to ensure outsourcing partners are achieving agreed upon targets.
Work with local outsourced firms and agencies for effective timely visa and work permit related support.
Manage the 90-day notification tracking and submission of reports for Thailand Immigration department including work permit and visa renewal & cancellation process for existing employees and outsourced employees
Lead visa and work permit team and develop their skills in support visa application process for expatriates employees and employees required to travel, where visas are required
Work closely with junior HR Business Partner of onboarding employees to ensure that any regulatory requirements are effectively communicated
Liaise with government agencies and Thai embassies abroad to optimize and expedite the visa application process for employees native in those countries and ensure that any regulations are regularly updated
Seek professional advice and counsel to ensure knowledge of legal requirements and regulatory changes are up to date as well as provide advice to internal stakeholders on any risk that could impact the business
