--- Introduction ---
I am sending this email on behalf of the moderators of our MSc programs who have the responsibility to the MSc examination boards of providing information on which it can make its decisions.
--- The process ---
All dissertations are read by one of the moderation team and, based solely on the document, they come to an opinion about the level of marks awarded. If their opinion does not align with that of the assessors then a second moderator will also read the report.
These 1st moderator comments will be passed to a second moderator and then will be passed to the exam board and external examiner along with the original assessors reports, marksheet and student comment sheet for their consideration. Whilst doing this they will also accept your comments on the moderators opinions
**** This email is an invitation for you to make your comments to add to this****
The easiest way for you to do this is to complete the **Your comments** section below after reading the moderators concerns and then e-mail me back
Please use REPLY TO ALL when responding
NOTE: Information below is given in the strictest confidence and you should not disclose this to any third party without my consent.
