The shell has a conical spire with rounded whorls. The aperture is not downwardly directed. The apertural barriers consist of an angular lamella at the edge of the peristome, an oblique parietal lamella further in, a prominent columellar lamella, a small supracollumellar, and upper and lower palatal plicae, the latter deep within the aperture.
