you know what’s so good about Fany? she doesn’t generally give off gay vibes. heck, I never imagined her to be the gayest SNSD member until I sat down and actually thought it through. maybe because she comes from the US, her outlook on “gayness” is much more open that the other members. sure, it doesn’t necessarily make her gay, but it can help attribute to the fact that she wouldn’t have trouble showing it. but anyway, what is it that makes Fany so gay? scratching at the surface, I can say that I’ve never seen a straight girl be so giddy and shy when kissing her members and being kissed by them. she seemed to enjoy that just a bit too much. going beneath the surface, there’s her strong attachment to Taeyeon. sure sure, you’ve heard me talk endlessly about TaeNy, and you’re probably sick of it, but hear me out this one last time. although Fany came alone to S. Korea from the US, she’s never really been the type to retreat and hide away when faced with something new. she has described herself as “wild,” and that isn’t a new part of her personality; it’s always been there. we also know our Miyoung to be a very outgoing person, so undoubtedly, she would have found a temporary place for herself when she first entered S. Korea before finally settling down. her attachment to “TaeTae,” though, is something of a mystery to me. they are opposites - while Fany went to see Ne-Yo, Taeyeon went to see indie bands perform. and it’s not just in their music tastes that they differ. Taeyeon is more quiet and reserved while Fany is loud and wild. what, then, could have formed between these two to bring them so close together? rather than continuing with this and creating a TL;DR post, I’ll make separate post with the rest of the answer.
but yeah, there you have it! SNSD members ranked by gayness and the reasons why they’re ranked as such
