I came back from a business trip late Tuesday evening, and this afternoon, my Discovery which had been in good working order when I left on my long trip, was able to start, the engine ran, albeit not smoothly and when I started to drive, it was very slack, hardly any power although I could rev-up the engine.
Trying to get out of the underground car park, it did not have sufficient power, even in first gear, fully revved-up with the clutch, to even make it up the ramp.
It may appear that one cylinder is not working? If you were to agree with that layman's diagnostic as being a possibility, would it then be possible to send a mechanic to my place with new spark plugs (on Thursday 1st October) and change them all, so that I can move the vehicle to your workshop for further maintenance on 2nd October?
May I take the liberty to give you a call in the morning?
