Third,
the units of meaning were coded by writing notes
and headings in the text during the read-through
with the purpose of describing all aspects of the
content. The coding was governed by questions
such as: What type of content is this? What does
it represent? The codes were then compared and
discussed by the authors, after which they were
grouped into different perspectives (i.e. subcategories).
The sub-categories were examined
critically and each one was accepted, rejected or
reformulated. Finally, the sub-categories were
tested and classified based on group affiliation (i.e.
generic categories) where different dimensions
delimited the sub-categories (Table 1).
