This research aimed to study factors associated with drinking and smoking behavior of adolescence in Nakhon Ratchasima. The sample consisted of 442 students, aged 13-18 years old and study in secondary, high, and vocational school. The instrument used in the study include a Survey Thai youth health risk behaviors questionnaire. The data were by using percentage, percentage, frequency, median and test relationship with the analyst the Chi-square and Fisher. The result of the study showed that female adolescents reported drinking alcohol 35.75% (n=158), and 21.95% (n=97) in male There was smoking behavior only in male (n=14, 3.17%). Factors that influence the behavior of teenagers drinking in Nakhon Ratchasima were 1) Different parenting styles affected drinking (x2=14.896, p<.01 Sexual difference did not affect drinking behavior (x2=.45, p>.05) 3) difference in acceptance in peer group did not affected drinking behavior (x2=.72,p-value=7.88). Factors that influence the smoking behavior were 1) Sexual difference affect smoking behavior (x2=23.133,p-value=.001) 2) Different parenting does not affect smoking behavior (x2 = 386, p> .05) 3) Recognized in the different groups affect smoking behavior (x2=438,p-value=.508)It was recommended that Nurses should be studied in depth In-depth interview in female drinking behavior.Parent, the counselors, health officials should focus on promoting parenting styles that fit the behavior in order to reduce teen drinking
