Technological Transfer in Tourism
Sustainable tourism is to concentrate of living conditions, maintenance, and development for future generations, therefore, the challenge is to assess the tourist resources, develop competitive, and quality tourism. As a result, technology transfer is important to the improvement of equity, favourable to population from new tourist destinations, particularly in developing countries, and LDCs (Acting for Life, 2011: 10). According to United Nations (1992: 2), states should cooperate to strengthen endogenous capacity building for sustainable development by improving scientific understanding through exchanges of scientific and technological knowledge, and by enhancing the development, adaptation, diffusion and transfer of technologies, including new and innovative technologies.
