Pigments in sediment
The changes of pigment concentrations in sediment are
shown in Fig. 3. The statistical analysis showed that
the concentrations of Chl-a and Chl-b across treatments
increased significantly at 12°C, while that of phycocyanin
increased significantly at 15°C. Therefore, the recruitment of total algae, non-cyanophytes, and cyanophytes was
initiated at 12, 12, and 15°C, respectively.
