To illustrate this approach, K326, recognized for its high holding ability, was compared to NC37NF, known for having only fair holding ability .Significant differences in holding ability between these two cultivars was evident (Fig. 2). The two data points represented harvests that were 3 weeks apart in 1995 and two weeks apart in 1994. The regressions (slopes) were significantly different at the 0.10 level of probability indicating that NC37NF declined in value more rapidly than K326.
