I went here for lunch and it was a big mistake, especially in light of he the fact that there are good restaurants like Central BBQ that are also near to the National Civil Rights Museum. It has a 50's charm on the outside and it has been around forever, but I am not sure why based on this visit. The waitresses were miserably bitter young women with zero interpersonal skills and there was no manager or hostess on site. I had to be aggressive to get basics like a menu, a refill, etc. I sat at the bar and it took 25 minutes to get my food and it WAS THE WRONG ORDER! I ate it anyway, it tasted okay, and I just wanted to get out of there because I was already late. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and they gave me the sandwich despite my specifically ordering dressing and no bacon or cheese. The rude waitresses alone are reason enough to stay away, the horrible service is the icing. Food is okay, but this is not the type of business I personally would support.
