In summary, this phenomenological study describes different dimensions of a multimodal approach to working with children diagnosed with ADHD. As supported in the current literature there is no conclusive definition of this phenomenon. Perhaps the next step is to expand participation by conducting focus groups with representatives of all stakeholders, including families, with the intent of addressing identified issues and further developing the envisioned model of practice. This study speaks from the experiences of professionals; those that grapple daily at Alberta Children’s Hospital with implementing a multimodal approach to treatment of children with ADHD.
