1.4.3 ELECTRIC PANEL DOOR ACCESS
Almost all electric and electronic components are found inside the electric panels. The electric
panels are built in accordance with NEMA water tightness standard (figure 5).
A two step procedure has to be carried out to access the internal components :
1 In closed position, two quarter turn door lock keep the door permanently closed. To
open the door, the service technician has to release the quarter turn lock latches with
a large flat screwdriver or with the provided keys;
2 With the master switch turned “OFF”, the master switch door lock must be rotated
and held down to open the door (figure 8).
1.4.4 MASTER SWITCH
The function of the master switch is to
supply electrical power to the electrical
panel. Be careful, the master switch is
controlling the power after its connectors,
but not before.
When the master switch is turned “ON”, the
power is supplied up to the circuit breakers
and relays. The control power selector
(some model only), located on the control
panel, will control the power supplied to all
others components from this point.

To supply electrical power to the electrical panel, the operator has to turn the master switch
operating handle 90° CW to the “ON” position (figure 6). To cut-off power,
