The combined effect of increasing the wine flow and ethanol content produces a higher temperature in the alcoholic vapors that enter to the aldehyde column (see Fig. 8.a), which means less ethanol in the column (see Fig. 8.b). However, the products remain under specifications. For the rectifier column, the differences between the temperature and ethanol composition profiles among the four cases are negligible, as it can be seen in Fig. 9.a. and Fig. 9.b., respectively. This behavior is due to the fact that the temperature of the inlet streams to the column is almost the same for all the studied cases.
