ii) Controlling Length to Improve Testability
In process of controlling test case need to focus on length:
How much complex and precise is the test case? The good test
cases length may be 8 to 16 steps (for step-by-step method),
unless the tester can't save their work. There are various
benefits in keeping test cases short: It requires less time. There
is very less chances to make mistakes, or need assistance or
some times loss of data. Based on the length of the test case
the test manager can accurately estimate how long it will take
to test and how much effort we need to spend on it and results
are also easily tracked.
