that the outlet gas concentrations of butanol,
ethylbenzene, and p-xylene were maintained at approximately 5,
59, and 959 ppbv, respectively, with removal efficiencies of 100%,
61%, and 44%, respectively. As with the removal of the gas mixture
(acetaldehyde and toluene) mentioned above, a higher hydrophilicity
resulted in a higher removal efficiency. It was concluded that
the proposed VOCs removal method could be used successfully for
industrial applications.
