In order to change the community/society we believe it is necessary to first start at the individual level and encourage the development of local women by giving them access to training and an opportunity to learn new information and skills, gain awareness about their rights and increase their confidence and social network.
Over a period of five years we will be working in five (5) different sub-districts. Each year we will identify a new group of thirty (30) women (150 women in total) in a different sub-district and run our leadership program. The leadership program is made up of two stages – training and community project.
