Some different type of networks
1. Context charts Show interrelationships between roles, groups, organizations. etc. which provide the context for the case studied.
2. Event flow networks Show events (e.g. experiences, incidents) ordered by time and sequence.
3. Activity records Display a specific recurring activity (e.g. a classroom lesson) as a sequential pattern with specific actions each assigned to a link.
4. Decision modeling Flow chart giving sequential decisions made.
5. Conceptually ordered tree diagrams Shows how phenomena are classified (e.g. by an individual) and sub-categorized.
6. Cognitive map Displays a person’s representation of concepts about a particular domain or area of interest, showing the relationships between them.
7. Causal network Consists of boxes showing the most important variables or factors in a study, with arrows showing the relationships between them.
