NTN Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (NMT) was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of NTN Corporation, being its first manufacturing site in Southeast Asia. Though, the plant has been in operation since October 1999, the official inauguration of NMT facility was on February 14, 2000.
The NTN Corporation is a Japanese company that manufactures and markets ball bearings, precision processing equipment, and automotive equipment for a wide range of industries. The company owns and operates R&D centers, production facilities and networks of sales offices strategically located worldwide.
NTN has maintained a presence in Thailand for more than decades via NTN Bearing-Thailand Co., Ltd., a part of its extensive global network.
In order to expand their market presence in Thailand for bearings and constant velocity joints for various applications in many industries, the NTN Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (NMT) has been constructed in Rayong.
The Board of Investment gave the new company investment support for the production of above-mentioned products, which are made by using technology and know-how derived from NTN Corporation.
