To reduce the heating or cooling phase time the changes required are not simple and the improvement on time will be not significant.
The times that they are managing nowadays are really good: 2 hours for heating and 1 hour for cooling. These time are better than the theoretical values.
The modifications that would reduce the heating time would considerer to add some more electrical resistances, modify electrical components and air pipes. To improve the cooling time we should change the heat-exchanger, increase the cooling water flow and change some internal designs.
In case to be able to perform these modifications the improvement would be only a few minutes, not enough to run another full cycle each day.
Also the cost of that modifications would be around 70 K€.
In my opinion they should try to reduce the depyrogenation time, normally 30 minutes is OK, Do you know why they are doing 90 minutes of despyrogenation?
