Strains: 1. THG-A13T; 2. L. niabensis KACC 11587T; 3. L. oryzae KACC 14553T ; 4. L. yangpyeongensis KACC 11407T and 5. L. enzymogenes DSM 2043T. Data for strains 1–4 are from this study, and data for strain 5 were taken from Aslam et al. (2009). Cells of all strains were cultured on R2A agar for 3 days at 28 uC.
