Visited Petronas Towers 6 years previously and took the lift up to the Sky Bridge at level 42. The view from here looking around the City was spectacular and the site of one of the window cleaners at work 170 metres above the ground was amazing to see. A ticket is required to visit the Sky Bridge and in order to get the limited number of tickets available through out the day, you will need to queue up in the lower lobby at around 08:00 in the morning. These tickets are limited and go very quickly, so it's worth getting there early. We visited again in July and found that you can now take one of the lifts all the way up to level 86, that's 2 floors from the top floor!! and Oh My, what a view, If heights are not your thing, then maybe a bit of shopping?
At the base of the towers is the Suria Shopping Mall (one of the largest in Malaysia) and caters for all pockets and also has places to eat and a fantastic book stall on the top level. Surrounding the Towers is 17 acres of parkland for you to walk through or relax in and view the beautiful architecture of the Petronas Twin Towers.
At night the Towers are a wondrous sight to behold, a mixture of gleaming glass and polished stainless steel, very effective lighting makes it a most photogenic building. A must see piece of architecture when travelling to K.L.
Queuing for the tickets can be a little tedious, but it's well worth the effort
