6. Summary
We have now considered three approaches to capturing knowledge - consolidating a set of stories into a community-owned knowledge asset, capturing an event, and retaining corporate memory by interviewing a member of staff about to leave their current role. Knowledge capture in any form takes time and effort, but the potential vield to BP has been high millions of dollars in some cases, so the time and effort is well spent.
So we've now learned before, during and after, we know who knows, we've shown what is known the community and we've even captured it. Just how can we put it all together?
