The Republic of Yemen is located in the southern sector of the
Arabian Peninsula (Fig. 1). The study Assalamia-Alhomira area
(~20 km2) is located some (300 km) southeast of Sana'a and located
in Lat. 13°47′47″N and long 45°56′22″E. Assalamia–Alhomira area
consists of Precambrian basement which includes gneissic granite,
pegmatite and biotitic gneiss [19].
Juban area (~55 km2) is located some 220 km southeast of Sana'a
and located between Lat. 13°57′ and 14°04′N and long. 44°47′ and
44°57′E (Fig. 1), Juban area constitutes three main lithologic rock
units: gneissic granites and granitoids of Precambrian age, cretaceous
sandstones and tertiary volcanic [4].
Dempt area is located some (150 km) south of Sana'a and located
between Lat. 14°5′13″ and 14°05′21″N and long. 44°40′22″ and
44°39′39″E (Fig. 1) and constitutes tertiary volcano that is comprised
of basalt flows, ignimbrites and tuffaceous rocks [9].
