Extraction was performed in
sealed bottles with 50 mg of plant material and 3 ml of NADES
or 40% ethanol, heating and stirring at 40 C for 30 min. The sample
was transferred into a 1.5 ml microtube, centrifuged at
1300 rpm for 20 min and then the supernatant was filtered
through a 0.45 lm cellulose membrane. The resulting solutions
were used to test the effect of storage, under ambient room conditions
with sunlight, on the stability of the dissolved phenolic
compounds.
