Price correlation coefficient of 0.7 implies that tomato price changes in Urban market (Ogbegonogo) is associated with similar price changes in the neighboring rural market at Igbodo. The price variation between locations was therefore insignificant. This result shows that since the markets were integrated in terms of price behaviour, they can be classified as one market, especially when transportation cost is considered.
