Summarising all data obtained, it can be concluded that C. grandiflora examined in our study contain valuable biologically active components, such as antioxidants and volatile aroma compounds, which could be found wider practical application in different areas, particularly in formulation and production of food additives, functional food components and healthy supplements. Due to moderate antioxidant activities, development of plant products for practical uses should be focused on a complex exploitation of all valuable properties characteristic to the plants. Such approach would help increasing the feasibility of practical implementation in terms of agro-technological, economical, processing and application issues.
