This plant would make better use of space, putting machine shops close to where their parts go on the line. Inventory (parts, not engines) would remain close to the line. Flow racks and train pull systems would still be incorporated. Shipping and receiving would be combined into one, and the assembly would start and stop there. Implementing all of these factors would produce an overall more efficient plant, utilizing its space, resources, and manpower (Figures 3 and 4)
