When the number of bacterial colony growth determined using settle plate method was considered, the number of uncontaminated days ‘prior’ to the autopsy was not significantly higher than those during the autopsy days (p>0.05). However, this value for fungal colony number was 17 times higher significantly. Also, the number of uncontaminated days ‘after’ the autopsy was 16 times higher significantly than the number of uncontaminated days ‘at the time’ of the autopsy (p= 0.000).
