People in society have many sorrows, especially when someone is terminally ill and cannot be cured. Not only does the patient have sorrow but also the relatives have sorrow too. Sometimes the relatives devote much time in finding the cure. In sometimes they cannot be cured and cannot get well but only have a way to merely prolong the life. In this case the patient is also sorrowful with a bad quality of life. For me, the final option for a patient who reaches a dead end in finding a cure should be euthanasia.
Firstly, the reason that I support euthanasia is that it is free from suffering. Certainly the patient who should have euthanasia is terminally ill. A person who is terminally ill means, “A person who is sick and is diagnosed with a disease that will take their life.”1 If the patient has dispirited in finding a cure, I think should talk to give the patient a calm departure. If relatives talk to dissuade them to live, I think it is not good. Maybe the patient will try to fight with death, worry about relatives who live, or feel guilty. I think it makes them feel much more sorrow much.
Secondly, an important reason for most people is paying for high expenses. The capital of money is important in daily life. People have three levels about status is rich, medium, and poor. If the patient is rich, maybe it is not bad for continuous treatment. Conversely, if the patient is the medium or the poor, what should you do? I know everyone can earn money for treating the lover but in this case is it proper? Do you can see the lover in torture? I think it is not good to do like this because not only does it have high expense but also makes the patient continually tortured too.
Thirdly, the last reason for me is waste of time. How can someone live being terminally ill from sickness for a long time and being in a severe condition more and more? It’s not surprising if the patient will stay at hospital for a long time. I think it’s good if the patient stays at hospital for a long time and get well at last. But in this case I think every patient will be lucky enough to get well. Why do you continually cure while you know it’s impossible for the patient to get well? I think it’s useless to do this because you can release the patient to depart without extending time for living.
In conclusion, the problems that happen not only affect just the patient but also have an effect on the relatives too. In many reasons euthanasia should be used to free the patient from suffering, pay for high expenses, waste time, or other reasons. Although the relatives or the patient will feel sad because they lose the lover, I think it is the best way that to do it. It has benefit in both sides if the patient is free and relatives not worry about them. For me if this situation happens, I will should to do like this. How about you if this situation happens?
